Studies to confirm this, and we mention from these herbs the following:


1-Ginger: 



        Many people resort to drinking ginger when they feel sick, because it may help reduce inflammation, such as sore throats or others, which may help stimulate the response of the immune system, and the vital compounds contained in ginger such as gingerol.




        It has antioxidant properties, according to a study published in the International Journal of Preventive Medicine Uhl 2013. It is worth noting that ginger may also contribute to reducing chronic pain, relieving nausea, and lowering cholesterol levels.

         It should be noted that the plant showed anti-influenza activity in laboratory studies, according to what was indicated by a clinical trial published in the journal Current Therapeutic Research in 2015, which also indicated that a drink Hot Echinacea may reduce the risk of symptoms and side effects from this influenza infection,  and it is worth noting that taking Echinacea for a short period is considered safe for most people.

6-Holy basil: 



          Holy basil or what is known as holy basil, as this type of plant can help to resist viral infection and increase immunity, as a clinical study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology in 2011 indicated the ability of basil extract to contribute significantly to increasing the levels of some types of cells. Immunoglobulins that help protect the body from viral infections, and from these cells; Helper T cells and natural killer cells after 24 healthy adults were given a 300-mg dose of basil extract supplement for four weeks.

7-Herb Alguetad:

Foods to strengthen the immune system


As mentioned previously, a balanced and healthy diet is very important in maintaining the health of the body, and some foods may also help support the immune system, including the following: 


1-Citrus: 


        Citrus fruits contain high amounts of vitamin C, which may help increase the production of white blood cells in the body, thus fighting infection.

2-Kiwi: 


         This fruit is also a rich source of vitamin C and some other elements that maintain the proper functioning of the body's functions. Calfolate, vitamin K and potassium.

3-Papaya:

6-Spinach: 


           The ability of spinach to support the immune system lies in the nutrients and antioxidants it contains. Such as vitamin C , vitamin E, flavonoids, and carotenoids.

7-Sunflower seeds: 


           These seeds are rich sources of vitamin E, which supports the immune system, as it is an antioxidant that helps reduce free radicals that are harmful to the cells of the body.

8-Red sweet pepper: 



            This pepper is also a good source of vitamin C, and it is worth noting that the process of grilling or frying red pepper quickly is a better way than boiling or steaming, in order to preserve its nutritional content.
